Alexander Winters is a Mexican-American filmmaker who grew up in Roseville, California. His passion for film began at an early age as he embraced the beauty of film and television. He has always been inspired by stories of heroes with strong moral compasses who have relatable issues. He understands that storytelling can create a positive and impactful experience for many.
With his diverse background, he believes his films can share various stories and characters while providing a temporary escape, allowing people to relax and watch the screen become their world. His films allow people to be kids again, exploring new experiences while asking the audience essential questions. This passion has given him the drive to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. As someone who loves experimenting with new stories, trying new visuals, and collaborating with others, he knows there’s a place for him in the film industry.
Alex recently graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in Entertainment Media Management and a minor in Business Law. He has produced several senior thesis films including; “el raspado man” and “ikigai", while producing several independent projects such as “Spider-man 2099”, “lucid personas", and "Chasing Lorelai.”
